FAQ

What makes Blake's Hard Cider different from other ciders?

Blake's Hard Cider comes from a family farm. Gerald and Lovey Blake bought land in Armada, Michigan in 1946, and their grandson Andrew Blake started Blake's Hard Cider there in 2013. Triple Jam is inspired by the berries the farm grows each summer. The lineup runs from easy 5% ciders to 8% imperials, plus hazy and fruit-forward styles.

Is Blake's Hard Cider gluten-free?

Yes. All Blake's ciders are gluten-free. They're made from apples, not grains.

How dry or sweet is each Blake's cider?

We rate every cider on a four-step scale: Bone Dry, Dry, Semi-Sweet and Sweet. American Haze and Imperial Blush are Dry. American Apple, Triple Jam, Big Jam, Tropical Mango and Black Phillip are Semi-Sweet.

What's the ABV of each Blake's cider?

  • American Haze: 5.0%
  • Triple Jam: 6.5%
  • Black Phillip: 6.6%
  • American Apple: 8.0%
  • Big Jam: 8.0%
  • Tropical Mango: 8.0%
  • Imperial Blush: 8.0%

The 8% ciders are our imperials.
